CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--91- /30
A RESOLUTION DECLARING A TOWER AND ANTENNA
EQUIPMENT ON TOP OF OLD CITY HALL SURPLUS
PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is desirous of disposing of
various tower and antenna which are no longer used or which
have become obsolete or worn out.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 s That the various tower and antenna listed
on the attached "Exhibit 1" are hereby declared surplus
property.
SECTION 2 ; The City Administration is hereby autho-
rized to proceed with implementing the procedures for the
disposing of the above -referenced surplus property pursuant
to the code of ordinances and all applicable law.
SECTION 3 This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of 1991.

The
following information Is provided concerning the
tower located top of the old city hall building.
-I enllsted the assistance and advice of Ken Kemble of
.,the City
Clerks office. We Inspected the tower and submit
the following information:
1.
The tower Is manufactured by Rohn, and is 14 gauge
galvanized steel.
2.
The tower's height is 40'. (four each 10' sections)
3.
The tower Is guide wire supported. (not self
supporting)
4.
The guide wires, tower base, wiring and side
antenna would be of no value to buyer.
5.
The suggested manufactures retail price for this
unit new is approximately $470.00...
8.
It is advised that the city required the buyer to
have a license contractor remove this tower from
city property due to Ilablity requirements. One
quote for removal by a license, -,.,,contractor was
$625.00.
