CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-91- /-5-
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT #1 TO THE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN BROWARD COUNTY AND THE
NORTHWEST CITIES FOR SECOND YEAR RECYCLING
GRANT PROGRAM IN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF
$147,324; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Northwest Broward Cities entered into an
Agreement with Broward County for Second Year Recycling Grant
Funds on April 18, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the City and County previously agreed to a
maximum amount payable by County to City under the Second
Year Recycling Grant Program Agreement; and
WHEREAS, County has additional grant funds that were not
expended by other cities participating in the Recycling Grant
Program; and
WHEREAS, the City expended its own funds in excess of
the maximum amount payable by the County to the City and
these additional amounts expended by City qualify for reim-
bursement under the terms and conditions in the Second Year
Grant Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 That the City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute Amendment #1 to the Agreement between Broward
County and the North West Broward Cities for Second Year
Recycling Grant Program in the maximum amount of $147,324.

SECTION 2 This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.

This is the First Amendment to that certain Agreement approved by
