R-91- /56 1 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED f WAIVER OF PARKING REQUESTED BY TRAMMELL CROW COMPANY AT THREE LAKES PLAZA; PETITION #36--Z-91; AND aim PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Section 24 of the Tamarac City Code provides that the City Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering to strict application thereof, and further provides that the waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City; and WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Three Lakes Plaza; and WHEREAS, the request is for a limited parking waiver to approve a site plan for an addition to a food store at the south- west corner of NW 31 Avenue and Commercial Boulevard: 1. With 528 spaces where 532 spaces are required 2. With 9-foot wide parking spaces where 10-feet is required Which allows a maximum of 12 parking spaces in a row where City Code limits the number of spaces without a landscape island to 10. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing thereon and has recommended denial of request #1 and approval of requests #2 and #3 of this application; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the limited parking waiver requested in the application of Trammell Crow Company. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: 31SECTION 1: That the application by Trammell Crow Company 3; to permit a limited parking waiver to approve a site plan at Three 3 akes Plaza for an addition to a food store at the southwest corner of NW 31 Avenue and Commercial Boulevard, Petition #36-Z-91: 3i3 1. With 528 spaces where 532 spaces are required 2. With 9-foot wide parking spaces where 10-feet. is required 3. Which allows a maximum of 12 parking spaces in a row where City Code limits the number of spaces without a landscape island to 10. I 3 2 1 f i 35 Temp. Reso. #6108 is HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to the public safety, health and welfare of the j--itizens of the City.
