CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-91- �J�S
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THIRTEEN (13) BOX
SPRINGS AND THIRTEEN (1.3) MATTRESSES FROM THE
CITY OF TAMARAC FIRE DEPARTMENT AS SURPLUS
EQUIPMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is desirous of disposing of
30 thirteen (13) box springs and thirteen (13) mattresses from
the City of Tamarac Fire Department which are no longer used
1! or which have become obsolete or worn out.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That the thirteen (13) box springs and
thirteen 13 mattresses from the City of Tamarac Fire
Department listed on the attached "Exhibit 1" are hereby
declared surplus equipment.
SECTION 2 : The City Administration is hereby autho-
rized to proceed with implementing the procedures for the
disposing of the above -referenced surplus equipment pursuant
to the code of ordinances and all. applicable law.
SECTION 3 : This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.

The Fire Department is currently replacing the box springs and mattresses at both
stations. A total of 13 units will be replaced. We would like to donate the old box
springs and mattresses to the Salvation Army or to any other service for the needy.
We would appreciate permission to donate these items.
