CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--91- c'�0O
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A RECOGNITION/MEMORIAL
BLEACHER PROGRAM AT THE TAMARAC MULTI-
PURPOSE RECREATION CENTER, AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is committed to a contin-
uing program of recreational activities for residents; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac recognizes that there are
individuals who desire to donate funds in recognition and/or
memory of loved ones; and
WHEREAS, additional funding for miscellaneous gymnasium
equipment is necessary; and
WHEREAS, in furthering the above purposes and interests,
the City council wishes to establish a recognition and/or
memorial bleacher program at the Tamarac Multi --Purpose
Recreation Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That the City Council of the City of
Tamarac hereby creates and establishes a recognition and/or
Memorial Bleacher Program whereby residents may donate funds
to the City for the purchase of a placard on a bleacher seat
in the Tamarac Multi -Purpose Recreation Center in recognition
or honor of a loved one.
SECTION 2 : An individual desiring a recognition/
memorial placard shall donate $25.00 for a nameplate to be
installed on a bleacher seat in the Tamarac Multi Purpose
Recreation Center.

SECTION 3 : Each donor shall receive from the City a
Certificate of Appreciation.
SECTION 4 : The Recreation Department shall accept
donations and administer the recognition/memorial bleacher
program.
SECTION 5 : This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
