CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-91- 91 1
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TWO (2) MEMBERS
TO THE URBAN FORESTRY COMMITTEE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on July 10, 1991, the City Council, by the adoption
of Ordinance 0-91-26, amended Chapter 2, "Administration", Article
III, "Boards, Committees, Commissions" by creating a new Division
9, "Urban Forestry Committee" to review, study, investigate and
develop written plans and programs for the care, preservation,
pruning, planting, replanting, removal of trees and shrubs in
parks, public rights -of -way and other public areas; and
WHEREAS, the membership of this Committee consists of not
less than four (4) members with two (2) staff members appointed by
the City Manager and two (2) residents appointed annually by the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of appointing two (2)
members to the Urban Forestry Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That pursuant to Ordinance 0-91-26, the following
members are HEREBY APPOINTED by the City Council as members to the
Urban Forestry Committee for terms to expire June 20, 1992:
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
