CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-91-
A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PERFORMANCE BOND
POSTED BY CONTINUOUS CURBING, INC., 2019
SOUTHWEST 28TH AVENUE, FORT LAUDERDALE,
FLORIDA, 33312 FOR BID NO. 91-12, FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF 9814 LINEAR FEET OF 6-INCH
HIGH EXTRUDED CONCRETE CURBING AROUND ALL
MEDIANS IN THE CENTER OF WOODLANDS
BOULEVARD FROM COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD TO
BANYAN LANE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Continuous Curbing, Inc., as Principal, with the
Family Bank of Hallandale, as Suretyy has filed with the City
performance Letter of Credit #218 in the amount of $13,150.76 to
guarantee construction of 9814 linear feet of 6-inch high
extruded concrete curbing around all medians in the center. of
Woodlands Boulevard from Commercial Boulevard. to Banya:rt Lane in
connection with Bid No. 91-12; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Department has found that 'the
work has been satisfactorily completed and has recommended
release of said performance bond upon receipt of a one-year
warranty bond in the amount of $3,287.69.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That performance Letter of Credit #218 posted by
Continuous Curbing, as Principal, with the Family Bank of
Hallandale, as Surety, in the amount of $13,150.76 for
construction of 9814 linear feet of 6-inch high extruded
concrete curbing around all medians in the center of Woodlands
Boulevard from Commercial Boulevard to Banyan Lane in connection
with Bid No. 91-12 is HEREBY RELEASED, subject to receipt of a
one-year warranty bond in the amount of $3,287.69.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
