CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF
PARKING REQUESTED BY JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES
KINGDOM HALL AT 5811 NORTHWEST 88T4 A.VRNUEt
(PINE ISLAND ROAD), TAMARAC, PETITION NO.
67-Z-91; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 24 of the Tamarac City Code provides
that the City Council may grant 1imiteil waivers cA �-11W off--
street parking and loading requirements wherldver a ha f-dsh.ip
would exist by adhering to strict application thereof and
further provides that the waivers would not be detrimental to
public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City;
and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Jehovah's Witnesses
Kingdom Hall; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public:
hearing on December 4, 1991, thereon and has recommended
approval of this application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Jehovah's
Witnesses Kingdom Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application by Jehovah's Witnesses
Kingdom Hall, Petition # 67-Z-91, for a limited parking waiver
at 5811 N.W. 88 Avenue, Tamarac, to approve a site plan which
allows 5 spaces with no forward means of egress, which allows
a setback of 5 feet where a 25 foot -setback is required
between Northwest 88th Avenue (Pine Island Road) and the
interior driveway, and which allows .a mini.mi.xm backuf.) distance

of 5 feet where the minimum of 20 feet is the requireirient, .is
HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver would riot be
detrimental to the public safety, health and welfare of the
citizens of the City.

immediately upon adoption.
