CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-91-
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID TO UTILI-
TIES SERVICES, INC., FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE WATER TREATMENT
PLANT EXPANSION --PHASE II; TUW PROJECT
NO. 89-40; BID NO. 90-35; AND PROVID-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County, Florida, on Friday, December 14, 1990 and
Friday, December 28, 1990; and
WHEREAS, bids were on Tuesday, January 15, 1991; and
WHEREAS, Utilities Services, Inc., is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA;
SECTION 1: That the bid of Utilities Services, Inc., in
the amount of $1,236,207.00 for additions to water treatment
plant, TUW Project No. 89--40, is HEREBY APPROVED, with funding
to come from Account #432-363-533-6HG, Water Treatment Plant
Expansion Phase II.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are hereby
authorized to execute any and all contract documents required
in connection with the awarding of this bid.
SECTION 3: That all necessary budget transfers associated
with this bid award, as shown on the attached budget transfer
form #1-122, are HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
