CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-91-49
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL ELECTION FOR COUNCIL DISTRICTS 1 AND 3;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIMETDATE,
WHEREAS, the General Election was held on March 12, 1991, whereir
the Electorate of the City of Tamarac was to choose one (1) candidatE
for Council Representative from District 1, and one (1) candidate for
Council Representative from District 3; and
WHEREAS, the Broward County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and absentee ballots and has certifies
such results to the City Clerk of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification from the
Broward County Canvassing Board and has presented her findings to the
City Council for a formal Certification and Declaration of the results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The following are the certified results of the votes
received by candidates seeking the Office of Council Representative from
District 1 at the General Election held March 12,,1991.
IRVING KATZ 2,752
HENRY M. ROHR 1,965
Irving Katz, having received the highest number of votes cast, is,
therefore, declared to have been elected as Council Representative from
District 1 for a term of two (2) years.
,SECTION„ 2: The following are the Certified Results of the votes
received by candidates seeking the office of Council Representative from
District 3, at the General Election held March 12, 1991:

BRUCE HOFFMAN 1,965

Diane Glasser, having received the highest number of votes cast, is
therefore, declared to have been elected as Council Representative fro
District 3 for a term of two (2) years.
SECTION 3: That Irving Katz and Diane Glasser shall take office i
accordance with the provisions of Section 2-27 of the City Code.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upo
adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 19th day of March, 1,9,91.

Supervisor of Elections, and saa, ounty Commissioner, constituting the
Board of County Canvassers in and for Broward County, Florida, do hereby certify that
we met on the 12th day of March, A.D., 1991, and proceeded publicly to canvass the
votes given for the offices herein specified at the CITY OF TAMARAC GENERAL
ELECTION held on the 12th day of March, A.D., 1991, as shown by the returns on file
