CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--91- 5-6
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMITTAL OF A LETTER OF
SECURITY FROM THE CITY OF TAMARAC TO BROWARD COUNTY
TO COVER THE AMOUNT OF $6,394.00 FOR IMPROVEMENTS
WITHIN THE COUNTY RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR THE RIGHT TURN
LANE ON NORTHWEST 71ST PLACE AT NOB HILL ROAD; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the revised plans for the Right Turn Lane on N.W.
71st Place at Nob Hill Road have been approved by the Broward
County Engineering Division, and
WHEREAS, Broward County requires a letter of security from
the City of Tamarac to cover an amount of $6,394.00 for
improvements w;thin the County Right -of -Way, and
WHEREAS, the letter of security is required prior to the
County Engineering Division issuing a permit for the
construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
SECTION 1: That a letter of security be issued by the City
of Tamarac to Broward County to cover an amount of $6,394.00 for
improvements within the County Right -Of -Way.
SECTION 2: The letter of security is required to be
submitted to Broward County prior to issuance of a construction
permit.
SECTION 3: Approval of this security amount does not include
approval of an amount for pavement marking and signing; however,
the Traffic Engineering Division has waived the required bonded
amount for the pavement markings and signs.
SECTION 4: The permit must be obtained by February 26, 1992,
and the construction commenced within six (6) months of that
date.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage. -_
