CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-91- A
A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO SECTION 6.03 OF
THE CITY CHARTER APPOINTING FOUR (4)
MEMBERS TO THE REDISTRICTING COMMITTEE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE -DATE, -- --
WHEREAS, Section 6.03 of the City Charter provides a
redistricting procedure; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk, pursuant to Section 6.03 of the
City Charter, has timely determined in writing on March 20,
1991, that the redistricting procedure is to take place in.
1991; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered applications for
four (4) appointments to the Redistricting Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, FEE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following people are hereby
appointed to the Redistricting Committee for a term to expire
February 26, 1992:
Helen Massaro from District 1
Oscar Brawer
from
District
2;
Joseph Schreiber
from
District
3; a n d
Ben Sonkin
from
District
4.
SECTION 2: That the Redistricting Committee is directed
pursuant to the City Charter to meet, along with the four (4)
appointees of the Charter Board, on or before May 8, 1991., to
appoint the ninth member of the committee and to begin the
redistricting process.
SECTION 3: That the Redistricting Report, pursuant to
the City Charter, shall be submitted to a joint meeting of the
City Council and. Charter Board on or before September 6, 1991.

SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become affective
immediately upon adoption.
