CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-91-7
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A. LIMITED WAIVER OF
PARKING REQUESTED BY BONAIRE DEVELOPMENT
PARTNERSHIP/WATERPLACE AT TRACT 75 OF WOODMONT;
PETITION NO. 21-Z-91; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 24 of the Tamarac City Code provides
that the City Council may grant a limited waiver of the off--
street parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship
would exist: by adhering to strict application thereof, and
further provides that the waiver would not be detrimental to
public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City;
and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Bonaire Development Partner-
ship/Waterplace at: Tract 75 of Woodmont located South of NW
78th Avenue, West of University Drive; Petition. No. 21--Z-91;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public
hearing thereon and has recommended approval of this
application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Bonaire
Development Partnership/Waterplace.
NOW, THEREFORE, BF 1T RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMAR.AC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application by Bonaire Development
Partnership/Waterplace to permit a limited parking waiver of
section 24-578 (b)(1) of the code to approve a site plan which
allows for 1.4 vows of 11 parking space; where city code allows
no more than 10 spaces without, a landscape island fox' a tennis
court addition to the Residential Complex at. Tract 75 of
Woodmont located South of NW 78th Avenue, West of University
Drive; Petition No. 21-Z-91; is HEREBY APPROVED, and such
limited waiver would not be detrimental to the public safety,
health and welfare of the citizens of the City.

SECTION-2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
