CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-99j- /
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN CODE
PERTAINING TO COLOR REQUESTED BY ALBERTSON'S, INC.
FOR A BLUE GROUND SIGN FACING UNIVERSITY DRIVE FOR
THE ALBERTSON'S STORE LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST
CORNER OF UNIVERSITY DRIVE AND MCNAB ROAD; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Albertson's, Inc. has requested a waiver from
the Sign Code Section 21-3 governing signs; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed this request
and has made recommendation for denial; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said
waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Code Section
21-3 requested by Albertson's, Inc. for a blue ground sign
facing University Drive for the Albertson's store located at
the northeast corner of University Drive and McNab Road is
hereby approved.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
1: Height of sign must conform to City of Tamarac code
provisions.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of 1989.
