RESOLUTION NO. R-89- I6�6
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF
ONE (1) SERVICE BODY TO BE INSTALLED IN VEHICLE
445, A 1986 FORD F150 PICK-UP TRUCK, BID NO.
89-1.9; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on March 10, 1989 and March 17, 1989; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on March 27, 1989; and
WHEREAS, Broward Frame and Body, Inc., is the lowest
fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Broward Frame and Body,
Inc., 1440 North Powerline Road, Pompano Beach, Florida, in
the amount of $2,637.00 for the purchase of one (1) service
body to be installed in Vehicle 445, a 1986 Ford F150 pick --up
truck, with funds to be taken from Account #425-364--533-640,
titled Utilities West Vehicles, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.

SPECIFICATIONS AND BID SCHEDULE
Invitation To Sid
All prices quoted F.O.B. Tamarac, Florida. Delivered and wiloaded at applirable city destination as indicated below. The
following special conditions (if chucked) apply to this bud.
BIDDERS REQUIREMENT FOR CERTIFIED CHECK OR BID BOND: The City shall require from all Bidders, a
Dcertified check or bid bond in the amount of rive (5) percent of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the City in the event the Bidder
to whom the business is awarded, shall fail or refuse to comply with the specification of the bid. Checks will returned promptly
to the unsuccessful Bidders after award of bid. Failure to submit this bid bond with the bid could cause rejection of the bid.
PERFORMANCE BONDS: The City shall prior to the execution of the contract, require the Bidder to furnish bonds covering
❑the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder in such form and amount as the
City may prescribe and with such sureties secured through the Bidder's usual sources as maybe agreeable to the parties. If such
bonds am stipulated, the premiums shall be paid by the Bidder. The Bidder shall deliver bonds to the City no later than the date
of execution of the contract.
