CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-89- 10-7
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR A NEW PUMP AT
TRACT 27 WATER TANK FOR TAMARAC UTILITIES WEST,
PROJECT NO. 88-12, BID NO. 89-12; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on March 10, 1989 and March 17, 1989; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on April 6, 1989; and
WHEREAS, TLC Diversified, Inc., is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of TLC Diversified, Inc., 22842
Southwest 53 Avenue, Boca Raton, Florida, in the amount of
$60,425.00 for a New Pump at Tract 27 Water Tank for Tamarac
Utilities West, Project No. 88-12, with funds to be taken
from Account #432-363-533-659, titled Utilities West Plant
Expansion Repairs, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents
necessary in connection with awarding of this bid.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption. V;:/

BIDDERS SHALL NOTE:
It is the intent of these Contract Documents to obtain a
Contract based on lump sum prices applied to the various
portions of the work. The price bid for each item shall be
stated in both words and figures in the appropriate place in
the Schedule of Prices Bid. In the event of a discrepancy
between the price written in words and the price written in
figures, the former shall govern. In the event of an error or
errors in the addition of the prices bid in arriving at a
total, the lump sum prices of the individual items bid shall
govern, and the award of the Contract shall be based on the
recomputed total price.
