RESOLUTION NO. R-89-

A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION TO
4 PERMIT A GASOLINE SERVICE STATION AT THE NORTHEAST
CORNER OF COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD AND NORTHWEST 88
5 AVENUE (PINE ISLAND ROAD) REQUESTED BY JEFFREY
BERKOWITZ, PETITION #10--Z-89; AND PROVIDING AN
6 EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for
the granting of special exception to permit the operation of

a gasoline service station at- the northeast corner of
10
Commercial Boulevard and Northwest 88 Avenue (Pine Island
11 Road); and
12
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac
13 has reviewed this application and has made recommendation for
14
approval; and
15
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public
16
has been given an opportunity to express their views con-
17
cerning the application for special exception; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac finds

that the petition for special exception would be in keeping
2
with the public health, safety and general welfare of the
21
City of Tamarac.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
23
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception to
25
permit the operation of a gasoline service station at the
26
northeast corner of Commercial Boulevard and Northwest 88
27
Avenue (Pine Island Road), requested by Jeffrey Berkowitz,
28 Petition #10-Z-89, is HEREBY APPROVED.

SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
