CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-89 - 177
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE VETERANS
AFFAIRS COMMITTEE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 0--88--41 created a Veterans Affairs
Committee to consist of eight (8) or more members appointed
by the Council to serve for one (1) year terms at the
pleasure of the City Council. The membership shall contain
at least one member from each of the following Veteran
Organizations:
1) Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
2) American Legion
3) Jewish War Veterans of USA
4) Amvets
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of appointing
members to the Veterans Affairs Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 13Y THE c:ITY UUUBUIL Ur
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That pursuant to Ordinance 0--88--41, the
following are HEREBY APPOINTED as members of the.Veterans
Affairs Committee for terms to expire June 20, 1990:
Al Mallor, Chairman
Abe Blank
Ken Drown
Nora Gould
Andrew Johnson
Sol Kucharsky
Murray Schulman
Morris Mednick
SECTION 2: That the following person is hereby
appointed an alternate member of the Veterans Affairs
Committee for a term to expire June 20, 1990:
Jack Slutsky
