CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-89-
A RESOLUTION CREATING A SENIOR MAINTENANCE
POSITION AND A MAINTENANCE POSITION TO PROVIDE
MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE POLICE FACILITY,
ESTABLISHING A PAY PLAN; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, by the adoption of Resolution No. R-89-153 on
June 14, 1989, the City Council approved a Lease Agreement
for the Police Facility with the Broward Sheriff's Office;
and
WHEREAS, the Lease Agreement provided that the City
shall provide maintenance services for the Police Facility
and the position of one (1) Senior Maintenance Worker and one
(1) Maintenance Worker are necessary to do so.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby creates the
position of Senior Maintenance Worker and establishes a pay
plan at Pay Plan 8, Pay Grade 11,^Step A.
SECTION 2: That the City Council hereby creates the
position of Maintenance Worker and establishes a pay plan at
Pay Plan 8, Pay Grade 9, Step A.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
