CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-89-
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION TO
PERMIT THE OPERATION OF A LAUNDERETTE AT 7110-D
NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE (FAMILY MART SHOPPING
CENTER), TAMARAC, WHICH IS ZONED B--2 (PLANNED
BUSINESS), REQUESTED BY V & W LAUNDRY, INC.,
PETITION #19-Z--89; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for
the granting of special exception to permit the operation of
a launderette at 7110-B North University Drive (Family Mart.
Shopping Center) as requested by V & W Laundry, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public
meeting thereon and has recommended approval of this
application; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public
has been given an opportunity to express their views
concerning the application for special exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that
the petition for special exception would be in keeping with
the public health, safety and general welfare of the City of
Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception to
permit the operation of a launderette requested by V & W
Laundry, Inc. at 7110-B North University Drive (Family Mart
Shopping Center) is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
1. No gaming machines permitted on premises.
2. No dry cleaning pe=-' tted on premises.
3. Attendant on duty at all times.

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption. Vk'
