R-89- oZ/ T A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR REHABILITATION OF PUMP STATIONS 14, 18A, 18B AND 24, AND NEW WET WELL CONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION OF PUMP STATION 2A, BID NO. 89-29; WITH AUTHORIZATION GIVEN TO MAKE THE APPROPRIATE BUDGET TRANSFERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County on Friday, June 9, 1989 and Friday, June 16, 19 89 ; and WHEREAS, bids were opened on July 13, 1989; and WHEREAS, Akerblom Contracting, Inc., in the amount of $399,100.00, is the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That. the bid of Akerblom Contracting, Inc., 2017 S.W. 28th Terrace, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33312, in the amount of $399,100.00, for Rehabilitation of Pump Sta- tions 14, 18A, 18B and 24, and New Wet Well Construction and Rehabilitation of Pump Station 2A, is HEREBY APPROVED. SECTION 2: The following.budget transfers are hereby authorized in order to fund this project: 1) Transfer $47,580.00 from "SEWER CIAC" Account No. 432- 389-125 entitled Appropriated CIAC-Sewer to Account No. 432-367-535-6PJ entitled Sewer Pump Station Rehabilita- tion as required to meet the CIAC funded portion of this project.. 2) Transfer $98,000.00 from. Sewer "CONTINGENCY FUND" Account No. 425-371-588-975 entitled Contingency to Account No. 425-367-535--6PJ entitled Sewer Pump Station Rehabilitation as required to meet a portion of the revenue funding for this project. 3) Transfer $85,516.00 from Sewer "UNEXPENDED FUNDS" Account No. 425-371-588-999 entitled Unexpended Funds to Account. No. 425-367-535-6PJ entitled Sewer Pump Station Rehabilitation as required to meet a portion of the revenue funding for this project. The Contractor agrees to use the products and methods designed or described in the Specifications and as amended by Addenda.
