WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County on Wednesday, July 12, 1989 and Wednesday, July 19, 1989; and WHEREAS, bids were opened on July 25, 1989; and WHEREAS, Deming Pump Company, in the amount of $52,118.00, is the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the bid of Deming Pump Company, P.O. Box 17962, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33318, in the amount of $52,118.00 for New Pumps and Motors for Raw Water Wells 2 through 9, with funds to be taken from TUW Account #432- 363-533-633, titled Raw Water Wells 2 through 9, is HEREBY APPROVED.
