CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION, NO. R-89-- , -Z
A RESOLUTION REVISING THE RATE FOR THE RESIDENTIAL
GARBAGE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL FEE; PROVIDING FOR
100% BILLING OF SAID FEE; REPEALING RESOLUTIONS IN
CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Article IV of Chapter 11 of the City Code sets
the rate of the garbage collection and disposal fee as a
percentage of the actual cost incurred by the City under its
residential garbage collection and disposal contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the rate of 100% of the actual cost
incurred by the City under its residential garbage collection
and disposal contract shall be established as a residential
garbage collection and disposal fee.
SECTION 2: Said fee shall be revised to the following
charge per month for:
bill.
(a) curb service per unit
other than condominium------------ $9.51
(b) dumpster service per
unit condominium ----------------- 4.69
Said fee shall be billed on the customers regular utility
SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall be effective immedi-
ately upon approval. The fee assessed pursuant to this reso-
lution shall commence October 1, 1989.
