CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-89-vZ 'F9
A RESOLUTION AMENDING PRIOR RESOLUTION
R-89-288 TO DELETE THE TIME REQUIREMENT FOR
RATIFICATION OF THE FEDERATION OF PUBLIC
EMPLOYEES (FPE) CONTRACT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council on November 8, 1989 adopted
Resolution R-89-288; and
WHEREAS, Section 4 provided that the Federation of Public
Employees (FPE) was to adopt the contract by 5:00 P.M. on November
30, 1989 and, if they did not, certain provisions of the contract
were to be null and void; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the prior Reso-
lution R-89-288 by deleting the time limit requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That prior Resolution R-89--288 is hereby amended
by deleting Section 4 in its entirety:

SECTION 2: All other Sections of prior Resolution R-89--288
remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3:-This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
