NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, THAT:
SECTION 1 : The City Council urges the Florida Legisla-
ture to fund the Community Services Trust Fund at a minimum
level of $1,000,000.00 (it's 1987/88 funded level) as admini-
stered by the Department of Community Affairs. The City
Council believes that by requiring a matching grant contribu-
tion, local communities will have a larger stake in the
overall program and will thereby be encouraged to administer
their local programs in an efficient and economic manner.

provide certified copies of this Resolution to Senator Peter
Weinstein, House Representatives Peter Deutsch and Ben
Graber, Senator Tom McPherson, Chairman of the Broward County
