CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-89 — 56
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE USE OF BOTH THE
PLATTED NUMERIC DESIGNATION AND A NAME
DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN STREETS IN THE
LAKEWOOD SUBDIVISION; PROVIDING FOR CERTIFIED
COPIES, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has received a request from
both the property owners living in the Lakewood Subdivision
and the Lakewood Homeowners Association to allow dual
designations, both a number: and name, on certain street signs
located in the Lakewood Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the United States Postal authorities and the
City of Tamarac have no objection to the dual designations,
provided the street names are subordinate to the street
numbers; and
WHEREAS- the Broward County Traffic Engineering Division
has requested of the City a Resolution acknowledging the
City"s wish to have Browa..d County Traffic Engineering
Division erect the dual designation street signs within the
Lakewood Subdivision;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1 The City of Tamarac has no objection to the
posting of the following street names under the street
numbers listed below:
1. N.W. 82nd Street
Lakewood Place
2. N.W. 85th Avenue
Lakewood Way
3. N.W. 83rd Street
Lakewood Court

The location of the above -referenced streets is more
particularly shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
SECTION 2 By certified copy of this Resolution to the
Broward County Traffic Engineering Division the City
authorizes the posting of the subordinate street titles set
forth in this Resolution.
SECTION 3 This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this__y day of 1989.
