CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-89--(I/t-267
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A BID FOR TAMARAC
UTILITIES' SURPLUS SCRAP MATERIALS FROM J & B
SALVAGE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council declared the scrap materials
as surplus property by Resolution #R-89-26, adopted on
January 27, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the sale of surplus property was advertised 'in
the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general
circulation in Broward County on February 15, 1989 and
February 22, 1989; and
WHEREAS, proposals were submitted to the City Clerk;
and
WHEREAS, the J & B Salvage of Miami, Florida, is the
highest fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of J & B Salvage of Miami,
Florida, in the amount of $112.57 for Tamarac Utilities'
surplus scrap materials, is HEREBY ACCEPTED.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents
necessary in connection with acceptance of this bid.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of Xlle , 1989.
