CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-89- %
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC RELATING
TO REORGANIZATION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS/PARKS
AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE
ELIMINATION OF CERTAIN EMPLOYMENT POSITIONS
WITHIN THE PUBLIC WORKS/PARKS AND RECREATION
DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF
CERTAIN OTHER EMPLOYMENT POSITIONS WITHIN THE
PUBLIC WORKS/PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The Director of the Public Works/Parks and
Recreation Department has expressed an intention to re-
organize that Department by the elimination of certain
positions and the creation of certain other positions; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed the Public
Works/Parks and Recreation Director's planned reorganization
and determined that it is in the City's best interest; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends adoption of this
Resolution; Now Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1 That the City Council hereby authorizes the
elimination of the following employment positions from the
Public Works/Parks and Recreation Department.
