CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-89- D(P
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, PROVIDING FOR THE ELIMINATION OF THE
ASSISTANT BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN THE BUILDING
DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF A CHIEF
PLANS EXAMINER POSITION; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official has expressed an
intention to reorganize that Department by the elimination of
a position and creation of another position; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed the Chief
Building Official's planned reorganization and determined
that it is in the City's best interest; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends adoption of this
Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby authorizes the
::1irt,ination of the position of Assistant Chief Building
Official from the Building Department.

SECTION 2: The City Council hereby authorizes the
creation of the following position within the Building
Department.
