CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-89- %3
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF
ACLC ONE (1) 8-WAY BOARD FOR CITY'S MAINFRAME
COMPUTER SYSTEM, BID NO. 89-15; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general. circulation in
Broward County on February 17, 1989 and February 24, 1989;
and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on March 10, 1989; and
WHEREAS, Eastcomp II, Inc., is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Eastcomp II, Inc., 4250
Ferguson Drive, Suite 101, Cincinnati, Ohio 45245, in the
amount of $1,950.00, for the purchase of one (1) 8-way board
for City's mainframe computer system, with funds to be taken
from Account #501--701-593-641, titled Management Information
Service Office Equipment, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.

SPECIFICATIONS AND BID SCHEDULE
Invitation To Bid
All prices quoted F.O.B. Tamarac. Florida. Delivered and unloaded at applicable city destination as indicated below. The
following special conditions (if cheer-ked) apply to this bid.
BIDDERS REQUIREMENT FOR CERTIFIED CHECK OR BID BOND: The City shall require from all Bidders, a
❑Certified check or bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid. which shall be forfeited to the City in the event the Bidder
to whom the business is awarded, shall fail or refuse to comply with the specification of the bid. Checks will returned promptly
to the unsuccessful Bidders after award of bid. Failure to submit this bid bond with the bid could cause rejection of the bid.
PERFORMANCE BONDS: The City shall prior to the execution of the contract, require the Bidder to furnish bonds covering
the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder in such form and amount as the
City tray prescribe and with such sureties secured through the Bidder's usual sources as may be agreeable to the parties. If such
bonds are stipulated, the premiums shall be paid by the Bidder. The Bidder shall deliver bonds to the City no later than the date
of execution of the contract.
