RESOLUTION NO. R--89- ?-.5-
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR COMMERCIAL BUS
FOR ADULT TRIPS, BID NO. 89-17; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on February 28, 1989 and March 7, 1989; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on March 13, 1989; and
WHEREAS, J. J. Kelly Charter Bus Service, is the sole
bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of J. J. Kelly Charter Bus
Service, 5880 Southwest 15 Street, Plantation, Florida
33317, in the amount of $260.00 per bus, per trip, for
commercial bus for adult trips, with funds to be taken from
Parks and Recreation Account #001--550-572-440, titled Rental
and Leases, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
