CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88-
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID TO FURNISH ALL
MATERIALS AND LABOR NECESSARY FOR THE SUPPLY AND
INSTALLATION OF SPECIAL ELECTRONICS SYSTEMS FOR
THE TAMARAC MUNICIPAL COMPLEX - POLICE STATION,
BID NO. 88-18; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on March 31, 1988 and April 7, 1988; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on April 14, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Network Security City Branches, Incorporated,
is the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Network Security City
Branches, Incorporated, in the amount of $83,150.00 to
furnish all materials and labor necessary for the supply and
installation of special electronics systems for the Tamarac
Municipal Complex - Police Station, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents
necessary in connection with awarding of this bid.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.

PROPOSAL FORM
To: THE HONORABLE CITY COUNCIL
Gentlemen:
1. THE UNDERSIGNED, having carefully examined the site and the
Contract Documents for the construction of special electronic
systems;
2. HEREBY PROPOSES AND AGREES to furnish all labor, materials,
equipment, plant, transportation, service, applicable taxes and
permits, and all costs necessary to complete the construction and
installation of specialty electronic systems in strict conformity
with the Contract Documents, including all work called for in
Addenda numbered and dated as follows:

3. The items listed
on the
Proposal Sheet
are offered as
separate items for the
purpose
of isolating costs.
The Proposer
agrees that all items
listed
on the proposal
sheet will be
awarded to a single Contractor.
4. The Proposer agrees that this Proposal shall remain in full
for<2\ and effect, and not be withdrawn for a period of not less
than sixty (60) days from the date of opening.
5.�-Time is of the essence with this Contract, and the completion
schedule is important in evaluating the proposals. If awarded
the Contract, the undersigned Proposer agrees to complete all work
within 150 calendar days from the date of Contract award by
the Owner.
Work shall commence within ten (10) days from the award of
contract and shall be completed by the Contractor within the time
specified in the Contract.

6. Find enclosed herewith a proposal bond for this project in
the amount of ten percent (109b) of the amount proposed, payable
to the City of Tamarac, Florida.
7. We certify that we possess all licenses and permits necessary
to submit a proposal and to perform the work required in the
Contract Documents.
