CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88- L-
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE USE OF
UNEXPENDED FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING MONIES
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1987/88; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of the Federal
Revenue Sharing Act, 96.064 of 1980, a public hearing has
been held for the purpose of allocating approximately
$25,000.00 of unexpended Federal Revenue Sharing funds for
Fiscal Year 1987/88; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has provided a proposed use
plan for these funds which contained the recommendation for
the appropriation of these funds into a contingency account
in the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund to be used by
September 30, 1988, on an "as needed" basis and approved by
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the public has had an opportunity to review the
proposed use plan and to give public input during the public
hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby designates the
appropriation of approximately $25,000.00 of unexpended
Federal Revenue Sharing funds into a contingency account in
the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund to be used by September 30,
1988, on an "as needed" basis and approved by the City
Council.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
