RESOLUTION NO. R-88-1,,2 "
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF
PARKING REQUESTED BY MANUEL T. GUTIERREZ AT
THE CENTRE AT WOODMONT, PETITION #15-Z-88;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
the City Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street
parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist
by adhering to strict application thereof, and further provides
that the waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health
and welfare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at The Centre at Woodmont; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has recommended approval of this application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Manuel T.
Gutierrez.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application by Manuel T. Gutierrez to
permit a waiver of thirty (30) required parking spaces at The
Centre at Woodmont, located at the southwest corner of University
Drive and Northwest 78 Street, is HEREBY APPROVED, and such
limited waiver would not be detrimental to the public safety,
health and welfare of the citizens of the City.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of 1988.
