RESOLUTION NO. R-88- �G
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR LOUVER BLINDS
FOR THE TAMARAC MUNICIPAL COMPLEX/CITY HALL BID
NO. 88-20; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on May 4, 1988 and May 11, 1988; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on May 16, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Broward Window Shade, Incorporated, is the
lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Broward Window Shade,
Incorporated, in the amount of $6,200.00 for Louver Blinds
for the Tamarac Municipal Complex/City Hall, is HEREBY
APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents
necessary in connection with awarding of this bid.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.

Gentlemen:
1. THE UNDERSIGNED, having carefully examined the site and the Specifications
for the supply and installation of Louver Blinds:
2. HEREBY PROPOSES AND AGREES, to furnish all labor, materials, equipment,
plant, transportation, service, permits, and all costs necessary to complete the
installation of Louver Blinds in strict conformity with the Specifications,
including all work specified in Addenda numbered and dated as follows:

3. The Bidder agrees that this Proposal shall retrain in full force and effect,
and not be withdrawn for a period of not less than sixty (60) days fran the date

cent (10%) of the amount bid, payable to the City of Tamarac, Florida.

In the interest of fairness and sound business practice, it is mandatory that
the Bidder state any exceptions taken to our Specifications.
It should not be the responsibility of the City of Tamarac to ascertain infor-
mation concerning the materials which the bidder proposes to furnish.
If your bid does not meet all of our Specifications, you must so state in the
space provided below. Attach an additional sheet if necessary.
Bids on equipment, supplies, services and materials not meeting the
Specifications may be considered by the Owner. However, all deviations must be
listed above.
If your bid does not meet the N-ner's Specifications, and your exceptions are
not listed above, the City of Tamarac may claim forfeiture of your Bid Surety.

I4WER BLIND INSTALLATION"
We hereby warrant, and the Lauver Blind Contractor guarantees, that the Louver
Blinds which we have provided in the Tamarac Municipal Carplex - City Hall has
been done in accordance with the Specifications, and the work as provided will
fulfill the requirements of the guaranty/warranty required by the
Specifications.
We agree to repair or replace any or all of our work, together with any other
adjacent work that may have been displaced or damaged by so doing that may prove
to be defective in its workmanship or materials within a period of .. ....
years from date of acceptance of the above named project by the Owner,.without
any expence whatsoever to the said Owner, ordinary wear and tear and unusual
abuse or neglect excepted.
In the event of our failure to comply with the above mentioned conditions,
within thirty (30) days after being notified in writing by the Owner, we do
hereby authorize the Owner to proceed to have said defects repaired and made
good at our expense, and we will honor and pay the costs and charges therefor
upon demand.
