CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-$8-/4/ 3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC REQUEST-
ING THAT THE BROWARD COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS WAIVE ALL BROWARD COUNTY ROAD
IMPACT FEES RELATING TO THE CITY OF TAMARAC
UTILITIES ADMINISTRATIVE PLAT; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is required to plat the
city -owned parcel of land for the Tamarac Utilities Admini-
strative Building located in Land Section #7; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Broward County Land Development
Code, road impact fees are charged in connection with all
plats prior to final Broward County plat approval; and,
WHEREAS, the Broward County Land Development Code
additionally provides, that in certain situations, the Board
of County Commissions may waive the imposition of road impact
fees to a particular plat; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, as a municipal corpora-
tion meets the criteria necessary to have Broward County road
impact fees waived by the Broward County Board of County
Commissioners; Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA;
SECTION 1.: That the City Council of the City of
Tamarac hereby requests that the Broward County Board of
County Commissioners waive all road impact fees relating to
the "Tamarac Utilities Administrative Plat". This waiver
request is based upon the City of Tamarac's status as a
municipal corporation.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are
hereby directed to present a copy of this Resolution to the
Broward County Board of County Commissioners.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
