CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88- 1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, PROVIDING FOR THE ELIMINATION OF
ONE (1) ACCOUNTING MANAGER POSITION, TWO (2)
ACCOUNTANT POSITIONS AND ONE (1) CONFIDENTIAL
SECRETARY POSITION WITHIN THE FINANCE DEPART-
MENT; PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF THE
POSITION OF DEPUTY FINANCE DIRECTOR, CHIEF
ACCOUNTANT, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT -FINANCE
AND STATISTICAL SECRETARY IN THE FINANCE
DEPARTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Director of the Finance Department has
expressed an intention to reorganize that Department by the
elimination of certain positions and the creation of certain
other positions; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed the Finance
Director's planned reorganization and determined that it is
in the City's best interest; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends adoption of this
Resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby authorizes, the
elimination of the foil -owing positions from the City Finance
Department:
