A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE THE FIRST ADDENDUM TO
THE CONTRACT WITH CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
SERVICES, INCORPORATED, TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL
SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE 'TAMARAC PUBLIC SERVICE ADMINISTRATIVE
COMPLEX, PROJECT #86-13 PROVIDING FOR
ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
FIFTEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED 'THIRTY FIVE;
DOLLARS ($15,435.00); AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the appropriate City officials are
hereby authorized to execute the First Addendum to the contract
with Construction Management Services, incorporated, to provide
additional services in connection with the construction of the
Tamarac Public Service Administrative Complex, Project 86-13
and authorizing additional compensation for such services in
the amount of Fifteen Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Five Dollars
($15,435.00), (a copy of said addendum being attached hereto as
"Exhibit 111.)

FOR THE CITY OF TAMARAC PUBLIC SERVICE
ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLEX

WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac (hereinafter "CITY") and
Construction Management Services, Inc., (hereinafter
"Consultant"), a Florida Corporation, entered into an Agree-
ment dated September 9, 1987 for Construction Management
Services relating to the City of Tamarac Public Service
Administrative Complex on Nob Hill Road; and
WHEREAS, SECTION 1(D), and Section 7, of the September
9, 1987 Agreement between the CITY and CONSULTANT provides
that the Agreement may be amended by written addendum; and
WHEREAS, the CITY and CONSULTANT wish to enter into this
Addendum to the September 9, 1987 Agreement between CITY and
CONSULTANT outlining the additional services and compensation
required for the City of Tamarac Public Service Administra-
tive Complex on Nab Hill Road; NOW THEREFORE,

WITNESSETH
IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual terms and conditions,
promises, covenants and payments hereinafter set forth, CITY
and CONSULTANT agree as follows:
1. CITY and CONSULTANT agree that the City's decision
to substitute architects on the proposed Public
Service Administrative Complex has caused delays
beyond the consultant's control. Accordingly, the
September 9, 1987 Agreement between the CITY and
CONSULTANT for Construction Management Services for
the City of Tamarac Public Service Administrative
Complex, is hereby amended to delete the require-
ment that the services outlined in Task #1 Pre -
Construction phase, Task Order('s) 41.1 thru 1.23,
be completed five (5) months prior to the date of
construction.
2. Due to the delays referenced above and pursuant to
Section l(D) and Section 7 of the September 9, 1987
Agreement between CITY and CONSULTANT, the parties
agree that the CONSULTANT shall receive Fourteen
Thousand Four Hundred Thirty -Five Dollars
($14,435.00) in additional compensation to perform
the work outlined in Task No. I Pre -Construction
Phase, Task Order(s) 1.1 through 1.23.
3. Additionally, pursuant to Section 1(D) and Section
7 of the September 9, 1987 agreement between CITY
and CONSULTANT, the parties agree that CONSULTANT
should provide additional services by conducting
the necessary exfiltration/percolation tests and
emergency evaluations to implement a drainfield
system for the proposed Public Service Administra-

tive Complex. (The additional services required by

this paragraph are more particularly described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.)
4. CITY AND CONSULTANT agree that all other terms and
provisions of the September: 9, 1987 Construction
Management Service Agreement for the City of
Tamarac Public Service Administrative Complex shall
remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have made and
executed this Agreement on the respective dates under each
signature: CITY of TAMARAC through its CITY COUNCIL, signing
by and through its MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER, authorized to
execute same by CITY COUNCIL on the. 5 day of 1988,
and CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES, INC, signing by and
through its President, duly authorized to execute same.
