CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88- /rj
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A WAIVER TO THE
SIGN CODE REQUESTED BY TIRE KINGDOM/
JIFFY LUBE FOR A SIGN WHICH IS A
PERMANENT, ILLUMINATED, DOUBLE-FACED
GROUND SIGN LOCATED AT FRIEDES
COMMERCIAL CENTER (TAMARAC SQUARE WEST);
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on May 19, 1988, the Planning Commission voted
to deny approval of a_permanent, illuminated, double-faced
ground sign located at 7401 N.W. 88th Avenue, in Friedes
Commercial Center since the proposed sign was in
contravention of Sections 21-7(g)(1) and 21-7(h)(1) of the
City of Tamarac Code; and
WHEREAS, Tire Kingdom/Jiffy Lube has requested a waiver
from the provision of the sign Code pursuant to Section 21--12
of the Tamarac City Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC., FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the sign Code requested by
Tire Kingdom/Jiffy Lube for a permanent, illuminated, double--
faced ground sign located at 7401 N.W. 88th Avenue, Tamarac,
in Friedes Commercial Center, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
Subject to execution of agreement regarding sign and site
plan.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption. `!
