RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC AMENDING
PRIOR RESOLUTION NO. R-87-334 AS AMENDED BY
RESOLUTION R---87-348 PERTAINING TO CITY OF
TAMARAC UTILITIES WEST RATE STRUCTURE AND TO
WAIVING THE REQUIREMENTS FOR CIAC IRRIGATION
FEES FOR SINGLE FAMILY DWELLINGS; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to
Section 27--35 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered proposed
amendments to existing water utility rate structure and
considered input from the staff and members of the public;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac deter-
mines that it is desirable to waive the requirements for CIAO
irrigation fees for single family dwellings and therefore,
wishes to amend prior Resolution No. R-87-334. Now,
Therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA;
SECTION 1 : That Section I, entitled "Contribution
Charges (Connection Charges)" of Resolution R-87-334 as
amended by Resolution R-87--348 and relating to the number of
ERCs for single family dwellings for irrigation purposes is
hereby amended to read as follows:
I. CONTRIBUTION CHARGES (CONNECTION_ CHARGES)
Contribution Charges - Water $1,049/ERC C.I.A.C.
charges are based on the number of Equivalent
Residential Connections (ERC's), the meter size and
the use category. An ER.0 is the average daily flow
for a detached single family residence (curreentl.y
determined to be 240 gallons per dad) . Meter size
shall comply with the requirements of the South
Florida Building Code. User category shall be as
follows:
1. Water Service
a) Detached single family residence
b) Multi -family with single meter
c) Home owner association recreational
facility
d) Commercial
2. Irrigation Service
e) Commercial
f) Home owner's association
g) Single family
