RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR WATER TREATMENT
PLANT FILTERS 5 & 6 REHABILITATION, PROJECT NO.
88-13, BID NO. 88-28; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on July 21, 1988 and July 28, 1988; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on August 4, 1988; and
WHEREAS, C.E.M. Enterprises, Inc., is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of C.E.M. Enterprises, Inc., in
the amount of $83,900.00 for Water Treatment Plant Filters 5
& 6 Rehabilitation, with funds to be taken from Account No.
425--363-533-630, titled Tamarac Utilities West Water Treat-
ment Plant Filters 5 & 6 Rehabilitation, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2, That the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents
necessary in connection with awarding of this bid.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
