CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88-
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE TAMARAC FUTURE
LAND USE MAP; AUTHORIZING THE TRANSMITTAL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC FUTURE LAND USE
PLAN TO THE BROWARD COUNTY PLANNING
COUNCIL FOR REVIEW THEREOF; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City has adopted a Land Use Map which has
been certified by the Broward County Planning Council; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to recertify said map as
provided for by Chapter 163 Florida Statute; and
WHEREAS, the City has amended certain parcels of
property depicted on the City of Tamarac Land Use Plan to
reflect current land uses; and
WHEREAS, the City is required to submit for review to
the Broward County Planning Council the amended future Land
Use Map; and
WHEREAS, the City has held the required hearings before
the Local Planning Authority and the City Council of the City
of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That the amendments to the future Land Use
Map for the City of Tamarac, attached hereto and made a part
hereof as Exhibit "A", as amended, are recommended for
transmittal to the Broward County Planning Council for
review.

SECTION 2 : That the appropriate City personnel is
hereby authorized and instructed to transmit said amendments
to the Broward County Planning Council for recertification.
SECTION 3 That the appropriate City personnel is
hereby authorized and instructed to advertise public hearings
for final adoption of the Land Use Map as amended upon
recertification of the same by the Broward County Planning
Council.
SECTION 4 This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
