CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88-',�
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER
OF PARKING REQUESTED BY ALBERTSONS,
INC., 7100 UNIVERSITY DRIVE, TAMARAC,
PETITION NO. #24-Z-88; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that the
City Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking
and loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering
to strict application thereof, and further provides that the waiver
would not be detrimental to public safety, health and welfare of the
citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Family Mart Shopping Center, 7100
University Drive, Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has recommended approval of this application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the limited
waiver requested in the application of Albertsons, Inc., 7100
University Drive, Tamarac, Petition #24-Z-88.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application by Albertsons, Inc., to waive
the requirements of wheelstops and/or concrete curbs at Family Mart
Shopping Center, 7100 University Drive, Tamarac, is HEREBY APPROVED,
and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to the public
safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this L day of 1988.
