5 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN FEES FOR APPLI-
CATIONS FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS; PROVIDING FOR
AN INCREASE IN FEES FOR REQUESTS FOR EXTEN-
SIONS OF SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS; PROVIDING FOR
REPEAL OF PRIOR RESOLUTION NO. R--80-185;

WHEREAS, Section 28-199(e) of the Code of Ordinances of
11
the City of Tamarac authorizes a fee for processing an
12
application for approval of a special exception; and
13

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac finds
15
it to be in the public interest to increase the fees for
16
special exception applications for approval; and
17

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac finds

it to be in the public interest to increase the fees for a

request for extension of a special exception.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF

THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: That applications for approval of a Special
26
Exception shall be accompanied by a fee of $259r99 $500.00
27
to cover all costs in processing such applications. The
28
applicant shall also be responsible for publication costs.

SECTION 2: That requests for extensions previously
granted by Special Exception approval shall be accompanied by
a fee of $959:98 $500.00
SECTION 3: That Resolution No. R-80-185 is hereby
repealed to the extent of conflict with this Resolution.
