CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88-- 30-7-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC; APPOINT-
ING SEVEN (7) MEMBERS TO THE SIGN ADVISORY
TASK FORCE COMMITTEE; PROVIDING THAT EACH
MEMBER SHALL SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THEIR
RESPECTIVE APPOINTING AUTHORITY; 'PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS.the City Council of the City of Tamarac wishes
to revise the existing City of Tamarac Code provisions
relating to signs; and
WHEREAS the City Council wishes to appoint a seven (7)
member Sign Advisory Task Force Committee to review and
provide input on a proposed comprehensive sign ordinance;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA;
SECTION 1 : That there is hereby created a seven (7)
member Sign Advisory Task Force Committee. The Committees
duties are to review and provide input on a proposed compre-
hensive Sign Ordinance for the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 2 : The members of the Sign Advisory Task Force
Committee are as follows:
A. One (1) member to be appointed by the Chairman of
the Planning Commission. That member shall be
Anthony Silvestri..
B. Three (3) members appointed by the City of Tamarac
Chamber of Commerce. Those members shall be Glenn
Meyers, Bruce Goldman, and Kay Busch.

C. Two (2) members appointed by the City Manager.
Those members shall be Thelma Brown Porter and
Dale Lee.
D. One (1) member appointed by the Mayor. That member
shall be Bruce Hoffman.
-SECTION 3 : Each of the members of the Sign Advisory
Task Force Committee shall serve at the pleasure of their
respective appointing authority.
SECTION 4 This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
