CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION APPROVING FOR TRANSMITTAL TO THE
STATE OF FLORIDA, DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY
AFFAIRS; THE DOCUMENT ENTITLED "THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, COMPREHENSIVE PLAN 1989, WORKING
DRAFT" FOR THE COMPLIANCE REVIEW PROCESS AS
REQUIRED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE GROWTH
MANAGEMENT ACT, CHAPTER 163 FLORIDA STATUTE
AND CHAPTER 9J--5 FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is required to submit to
the State of Florida, Department of Community Affairs by
December 1, 1989 a working draft of the document titled "City
of Tamarac, Comprehensive Plan - 1989" for Compliance Review
in accordance with Chapter 163 Florida Statute and Chapter
9J-5 Florida Administrative Code; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac Planning Commission as the
Local Planning Agency has held public participation hearings
to discuss elements of the document entitled "City of Tam-
arac, Comprehensive Plan - 1989 Working Draft"; and
WHEREAS, the public participation hearings provided the
opportunity for citizens and those that may be affected by
the Plan to address the items discussed and to comment on the
document and furthermore to submit comments in writing to the
City if so desired; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac Planning Commission has
recommended to the City Council that the Council transmit the
"City of Tamarac Comprehensive Plan-1989 Working Draft" with
comments and recommendations to the State of Florida,
Department of Community Affairs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held the necessary trans-
mittal hearing on the proposed Comprehensive Plan and has
determined that the Comprehensive Plan should be transmitted
to the State of Florida, Department of Community Affairs for
compliance review according to Chapter 163 Florida statute
and Chapter 9J-5 Florida Administrative Code;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized and directed to transmit the "City of
Tamarac, Comprehensive Plan -1989 Working Draft" to the State
of Florida, Department of Community Affairs for compliance
review according to Chapter 163 Florida Statute and Chapter
9J-5 Florida Administrative Code.
SECTION 1: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
