CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88- --3.30
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A BID FOR TAMARAC'S
SURPLUS TRAILER WHICH IS PRESENTLY BEING USED BY
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council declared the trailer as
surplus property by Resolution #R-88-303, adopted on
October 31, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the sale of surplus property was advertised in
the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general
circulation in Broward County on November 9, 1988 and
November 16, 1988; and
WHEREAS, proposals were submitted to the City Manager;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Lauderdale Lakes, is the highest
fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of the City of Lauderdale Lakes
in the amount of $7,100.00 for Tamarac's surplus trailer
which is presently being used by the police department, is
HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents
necessary in connection with acceptance of this bid.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption. -rk,
