RESOLUTION NO. R--$$-33 9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC RELATING
TO, THE CITY OF TAMARAC FIRE DEPARTMENT;
PROVIDING FOR ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS TO THE
CITY OF TAMARAC FIRE DEPARTMENT TOTALING ONE
THOUSAND ($1,000.00) DOLLARS, SAID DONATIONS
BEING RECEIVED IN EQUAL AMOUNTS FROM THE
WOODLANDS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION AND THE
WOODLANDS GOLF ASSOCIATION INC.; PROVIDING
FOR DEPOSIT OF SAID DONATIONS IN THE APPRO-
PRIATE CITY ACCOUNT; ACKNOWLEDGING AND
THANKING THE WOODLANDS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
AND THE WOODLANDS GOLF ASSOCIATION INC. FOR
THEIR DONATION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Sec. 2-9.1 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Tamarac provides that the City may acquire donations
of personal property; for municipal purposes and,
WHEREAS, the Woodlands Homeowners Association and the
Woodlands Golf Association Inc. have donated one thousand
($1,000.00) dollars to be used for municipal purposes by the
City of Tamarac Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac wishes
to acknowledge and thank the Woodlands Homeowners Association
and the Woodlands Golf Association Inc., for their generous
donation to the City;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC:
SECTION 1 That the City of Tamarac hereby ACCEPTS
the donation of the Woodlands Homeowners Association and the
Woodlands Golf Association Inc. in an amount totalling one
thousand ($1,000.00) dollars, said funds to be used for
municipal purposes by the City of Tamarac Fire Department.

The monies shall be deposited in Fire. Department Account
Number 135--366-925 (for receipt of donations)
SECTION2 : The City Council hereby wishes to formally
thank and acknowledge the Woodland Homeowners Association,
Inc. and the Woodlands Golf Association, Inc. for their
generous donation to the City of Tamarac Fire Department.
SECTION 3 This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this e2f day of 1988.
