RESOLUTION NO. R-88-- .._ `;l
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR NEW
FUEL STORAGE FACILITY AT FIRE STATION
2, BID N0. 88-13; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on January 12, 1988 and January 19, 1988; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on January 26, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Utilities Services, Incorporated, is the lowest
fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION That the bid of Utilities Services,
Incorporated, in the amount of $26,850.00 for New Fuel
Storage Facility at Fire Station 2, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That the amount of $6,000.00 is to be trans-
ferred from General Contingency Fund 001-872-589-975 to Fire
Station #2 Wellfield Protection Fund 001-823-522-503 to
provide additional funding for this project.
SECTION_3, That the appropriate City officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents
necessary in connection with awarding of this bid.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
