CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88-'
A RESOLUTION GRANTING RENEWAL OF THREE (3)
WAIVERS TO THE SIGN ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY
KINGS POINT OF TAMARAC PERTAINING TO
NUMBER, SIZE AND LOCATION OF CERTAIN
TEMPORARY COMMUNITY DIRECTIONAL SIGNS; AND
EROVIDINQ AN V
WHEREAS, Kings Point of Tamarac has requested renewal of
three (3) waivers to the Sign Ordinance No. 84-58 governing
number, size and location of certain temporary community
directional signs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
• That renewal of three (3) waivers to the Sign
Ordinance requested by Kings Point of Tamarac for temporary
community directional signs at the following locations is
hereby approved:
1. South side of McNab Road - Tract M - sign to be
four (4) feet by eight (8) feet, thirty-two (32)
feet overall
2. North side of Commercial Boulevard - sign to be
eight (8) feet by four (4) feet, thirty-two (32)
feet overall
3. North side of McNab Road (east of 8333 West McNab
Road) sign to be eight (8) feet by four (4) feet,
thirty-two (32) feet overall
Conditions of approval:
1. All signs in Section 1 above are subject to City
Code Section 21-8, Paragraph (2), which refers to
the South Florida Building Code regarding signs
over 24 square feet.
2. Renewal of waiver approved for one year from March
23, 1988.
